FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Media contact: Chal Bates named new OSU Federal Centralized Lending Supervisor Corvallis, OR – Chal Bates, a 12-year professional in the financial lending industry, has been named the new centralized lending supervisor for OSU Federal, Your Community Credit Union. Bates has been in the Centralized Lending department of OSU Federal since 2002 as both a direct and indirect underwriter. Prior to coming to the credit union, she served as a Branch manager for American General Finance for five years. The centralized lending area manages the approval and processing of all auto and personal lending for OSU Federal. Bates will continue to work out of Corvallis. “We always strive to hire within and are excited for Chal to take on the leadership role in our Centralized Lending department. She is very dedicated to the service that we provide to the OSU Federal membership,“ said Rhonda Heile-Brown, OSU Federal Vice President for Branch Services. “I knew from my first day I could be hooked with the approach to service and the member focus mentality at OSU Federal. The past seven years here have been the best overall experience in lending,“ said Bates. OSU Federal is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative open to anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Benton, Lincoln, Linn, Marion or Polk counties. OSU Federal now serves more than 63,000 members and was honored as the National Community Credit Union of the Year by the Credit Union National Association in October of 2008.
